About The Shot

This is a basic, and perhaps the easiest, jump-masse shot. I jump the cue ball out of the rack and have it masse straight back pocketing the ball in the corner pocket. It's more impressive the farther up the table it goes before the masse takes.

Make This Shot

The rack helps with this shot. Place it so the edge leads right to the hanging object ball. Or, for a challenge, turn the rack around so it points to the end rail and can't help escort the cue ball.

Other than that, it's just your basic jump-masse stroke. 80-85 degrees of elevation, hitting the edge of the cue ball, with a little bit of side to make sure it comes back the right direction. Good luck!
