About The Shot

On this masse shot, the cue ball is frozen to an object ball. On the masse stroke, the object ball is sent to the side pocket while the cue ball squirts out and makes a big curve to go two rails and pocket the hanging object ball in the far corner.

Resistance Two Rail Masse

Make This Shot

I put the cue ball one ball width from the rail with its edge even with the point of the side pocket. Freeze an object ball to it pointed the far side of the side pocket to account for throw.

I aim at the second diamond and hit the cue ball around 5 o'clock with about 80-85 degrees of elevation. Too much draw will bring you short and too much spin will take you long. Find the right balance for your stroke and table.
